Personal Interests

Dana and her husband have lived in the Richmond area for over 20 years. They have four children and enjoy outdoor activities as a family such as hiking, swimming, and tennis. In addition to cheering on her own children at their many extra-curricular events, Dana and her family attend sporting events at the University of Richmond and other community events in the city. She has served and continues to support local adoption agencies and crisis pregnancy centers.

Biography

Dana received her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond. She then attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned a Masters in Nursing. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has worked at Chesterfield Pediatrics since 1996. She believes that a child’s health is a partnership between the family and a health care provider. For 20 years at Chesterfield Pediatrics, she has been committed to the care of children from birth to 21 years of age as well as to the education and service of the parents. In the Richmond community, Dana has taught many classes focusing on equipping expecting parents, nurturing healthy children and ultimately strengthening families.
